The leaf shape is worked entirely in open cutwork, its veins radiating out from the centre in fine gold lines rather than a solid surface. Below the leaf, fine chains fall and end in small round beads, adding gentle movement to the drop. No stones are set, so the cutwork pattern remains the main feature.
